The EM400-TLD is a distance sensor utilizing ToF (time of flight) technology, primarily used for detecting fill levels and positions. It offers an appropriate field of view with a maximum angle of 27°, ensuring minimal blind spots when installed on small waste bins or containers. The sensor includes an embedded temperature sensor to monitor container burning for security reasons. Its IP67 waterproof rating and internal damp-proof coating make it suitable for outdoor applications. Additionally, EM400-TLD features a 3-axis accelerometer to detect the status of the container lid.
Milesight offers two versions of the sensor to cater to different communication needs. The LoRaWAN® version can be integrated with Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and Milesight IoT Cloud solution, facilitating remote and visual management of all sensor data. On the other hand, the NB-IoT/Cat.M version supports multiple application modes, making it compatible with IoT platforms. It is also equipped with GNSS for tracking and security purposes.
