Transcend's M.2 SSD MTE712A is a self-encrypting drive (SED) that meets TCG Opal 2.0 specifications. AES 256-bit hardware encryption and LBA (Logical Block Address) sector-specific permissions are used to protect data.
The MTE712A achieves previously unheard-of transfer speeds thanks to its 112-layer 3D NAND flash and PCI Express (PCIe) Gen 4 x4 interface. Faster random speeds are made possible by its integrated DRAM cache, and its reliability in challenging environments is ensured by its 30" gold finger PCB, Corner Bond technology, and anti-sulphur resistor. The MTE712A has undergone extensive testing in-house and has proven to be reliable over a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 75°C.
For mission-critical applications, Transcend also provides the MTE712A-I with wide temperature capabilities (-40°C to 85°C). This guarantees continued functionality, increased endurance, and ideal reliability.
